HGH Supplements

HGH Resources

According to Sytropin manufacturers, they produce a revolutionary supplement that is supposed to increase lean muscle mass, decrease body fat and decrease your weight.

As a dietary supplement, Sytropin is not regulated by the FDA. It does not need a prescription and you do not need to see a doctor.

Sytropin is an oral HGH spray, which makes it different from many of the other HGH supplements on the market. Because it is a spray, the active ingredients are quickly absorbed into the bloodstream avoiding the stomach all together. When these ingredients are released into the bloodstream, the pituitary gland will increase production of HGH.

There are a number of HGH supplements that can be purchased legally. Sytropin is one of those HGH supplements, but it is unique in that it is an oral spray.

According to a recent report in the Chicago Tribune the number of US teens that are using synthetic HGH has more than doubled from 2012 to 2013.

Increasing your HGH levels has a real benefit to your overall health and well being. HGH or human growth hormone is produced in the pituitary gland and it is responsible for many things in your body, including growth, lean muscle mass, etc. Read more on HGH benefits here.

Amino acids are important to our bodies – they are the building blocks of protein. Your body uses them to build many different kinds of essential compounds. Some amino acids are more common than others and play more important roles. L-Ornithine is one of those. Ornithine is key for removing waste from the body.

The physicians that specialize in diagnosing and treating HGH deficiency in adults are called internal endocrinologists. There are a number of tests that can be used to assess whether there is an adult HGH deficiency.

On the market are numerous HGH supplements manufactured by a number of different companies.

Is Weight Loss Possible When You Have An HGH Deficiency

A question you hear thrown around often is whether weight loss is possible when you are HGH deficient. There’s a great deal of information posted online, but after some serious research, we have determined that it is quite possible that if you are suffering from an HGH deficiency that you may have trouble losing weight. Let’s look at the research and other information we collected that showed there is in fact a relationship between trouble with weight loss and HGH deficiency.

Obese Person

While GH deficiencies in children have been well established, research in adults is lacking. Recent research has shown that HGH deficiencies is linked to changes in body composition. An HGH deficiency in adults is characterized by weight gain, a decrease in lean body mass and an increase in fat mass.

One recent study showed total body fat increased by 7 percent, while lean body mass decreased by 7 percent. 1 The increased fat mass is found in a truncal distribution, causing an increase in the waist:hip ratio. In addition, the study found that triglyceride levels increase and HDL levels decrease. The increase in lipid levels might partially explain the increase in vascular wall thickness measured by carotid ultrasonography in the study participants. These factors are all suspected to play a role in higher cardiovascular mortality rate in patients that had an HGH deficiency.2

Muscle mass and strength is decreased in HGH deficient patients. In the heart, these HGH deficiencies appear as a reduced left ventricular mass, a decrease in fractional shortening of cardiac myocytes, and a decrease in cardiac output. What does this have to do with the inability to lose weight? These abnormalities result in a decline in exercise capacity, which in turn leads to lack of weight loss.

In a recent study, cycle ergometry assessed that exercise capacity was decreased by 20 to 25 percent compared to normal controls.3 The study also showed that bone density was reduced in the participants with HGH deficiencies.

In another more recent study, cortical bone density and spinal bone density was 2.8 and 1.5 standard deviations below the mean for age and sex matched controls.4

Recombinant HGH Therapy

Recombinant HGH could turn out to be a novel therapeutic option for adults with acquired HGH deficiency. Current studies show a number of psychological and metabolic abnormalities are linked to an HGH deficiency and a GH replacement can reverse this, even when the doses are low doses. HGH therapy results in significant changes in body composition. There is a reduction in fat mass with an increase in lean body mass. When low dose growth hormones (0.003 mg/kg) were given it normalized lean body mass over a 6 month period in 24 adults who were GH deficient.1

The improvement in lean body mass is linked with an increase in muscle mass, muscle function and protein synthesis. After 6 months, total body fat mass decreases after 6 months of HGH being administered. The most significant decline in fat mass is in the trunk and visceral areas compared to the legs, arms and neck. This would indicate that HGH replacement therapy would reverse the truncal redistribution of fat mass that is associated with HGH deficiency along with having an impact on cardiovascular risk.

HGH has been studied for the effect it has on increasing muscle mass and reducing body fat. A study done at the Monash University in Australia in 2001 saw an increase in fat oxidation and in weight loss in the mice that were obese after just 14 days of treatment with HGH. However, there is definitely a need for more studies before HGH should be used to combat obesity. HGH injections should never be used for weight loss without first talking to your doctor. On the other hand HGH supplements can be purchased online without a prescription. Just make sure that you choose quality HGH supplements.

Steps for Using HGH for Weight Loss

#1. Speak to your doctor to learn whether you might be a candidate for HGH treatment. Not everyone who is overweight should use HGH injections for weight loss. According to the Mayo Clinic, if you have a growth hormone deficiency or you are diagnosed with AIDS or HIV, HGH injections might be beneficial. Benefits include an increase in muscle mass, a decrease in body fat and an increase in your exercise capacity.

#2. Your doctor prescribes synthetic HGH injections. There are a number of types of HGH injections including Saizen, Nutropin, Humatrope, Omnitrope and Genotropin. Usually these medications will need to be refrigerated.

#3. You will inject your HGH drug into your skin based on the directions provided by your doctor. Most doctors will teach you how to inject the drug. If you have problems you should let your doctor know.

#4. You should follow a low calorie diet and a proper exercise plan. Your doctor may make recommendations on diet and exercise. A calorie controlled diet that is well balanced with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins is best. You should exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes a day.

#5 Tell your doctor if you experience any of the side effects of human growth hormone injections such as enlargement in male breast tissue, joint pain, leg swelling, arm swelling and muscle pain.

Over the Counter HGH Supplements

While there are minimal studies on HGH supplements for weight loss, those that have been done would indicate the same benefits are possible with quality HGH supplements as with HGH injections, but without the side effects, since HGH supplements work by helping the body to increase natural HGH production.

HGH Injection Risks

HGH injections should only be taken under a doctor's care. Talk to your doctor about the risks. Side effects of HGH injections include:

  • Nerve, joint or muscle pain
  • High cholesterol levels
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Edema, which is swelling due to fluid in the body's tissues
  • Numbness and/or tingling of the skin
  • Increased risk of diabetes
  • Increased risk in the development of some cancers

If you don’t have a life threatening HGH deficiency taking an HGH supplement like Genf20 Plus, Sytropin or Hypergh 14x may be all you need.

The appealing benefits of human growth hormone (HGH) are no longer a secret. These products range from HGH injections to releasers, activators and sprays.

HGH releasers and supplements like Hypergh 14x and Genf20 Plus are not approved by the FDA for the treatment of any disease or disorder, and cannot be sold as ‘Anti Aging’ medications (This is however the case for all supplements).
